We were happy to support Publikat GmbH in the continued expansion of the their warehouse and logistic facility in Großostheim. A hot measurement of a 1 storey steel shelving/stage system was required. Additional challenges of a conveyor system and sprinklers, meant that a CFD analysis (FDS/Safir) was neccesary to prove the desired fire resistance.

The work was commissioned by our colleagues at Ingeni Sarl and we worked closely with them throughout the project. Our part was to model how possible fires could spread, how the smoke would develop in the building and to calculate the expected temperatures of the Aluminium superstructure.
